“Take a stance for your body.”
Topics Discussed:
🦩Miscarriages and the misconceptions of doctors.
🦩 Improving your egg quality.
🦩How failure can push us forward.
🦩Fighting for your body with your doctor.
On today's episode of the Finding Fertility Podcast :: How to Deal with Recurrent Miscarriages
For us to be considered candidates for insurance for IVF, doctors tell us that we have to experience three miscarriages.
But this type of thought process is ludicrous. We have to understand that it is traumatic going through that and have to take a strong stance for our bodies.
Doctors are often not educated on autoimmune disorders. Sometimes they simply don’t know the information, and other times they choose to have closed minds and not listen.
“The gut is the driver for things going on in your body.”
This is why it is so important for us to be educated and to know that we ultimately have the final say.
I wish I had more confidence in my journey to speak up to my doctors, ask questions, and let them know what I wanted, as it would have saved me a lot of frustration on the journey.
In this episode, we dive into taking ownership of your health even in the doctor’s office.
“Trust your gut.”

Anything written or said about health and diet are my opinions, that I have formed over the years, through trial and error, study, reading, listening and observing. What worked for me may not work for you. I am not a doctor, nutritionist or dietician and all medical advice should be gotten from a qualified professional. Product recommendations are based on what I used during my infertility journey or wish I had.
