It's True.
You don't have to go gluten-free to get pregnant.
You're best friends who got pregnant so easily has taught us that ð
Let's get nerdy:ð€
Wheat gluten contains an alcohol soluble class of proteins known as alpha-gliadins, which we know can trigger inflammatory changes in even non-Celiac people & can cause an immune response.
WHY? Well there's a few schools of thought, but here are my two cents:
The gluten we've been eating for the past let's say 50 years has been highly processed, packed full of E#'s, rancid oils & GMOs.
These are most likely doing more damage on your gut health than the gluten, but gluten has been thrown into the limelight.
Companies have caught on & have produced loads of "gluten-free" products that are still full of E#'s & rancid oils!
I'm getting off-topic - back to the gluten.
Because over the years you unknowingly have done lots of damage to your gut lining, this may have made you more sensitive to certain types foods like gluten.
Gluten is now in the top 5 food sensitives you can have.
So when someone suggests getting off gluten to improve your fertility, it might be a smart move.
You don't forever have to be gluten-free, but you might discover that your health improves in small little ways when you cut out gluten.
